Muffin House Cafe

Muffin House Café Opens its Sixth Location in Downtown Walpole

Located at 970 Main Street

Downtown Walpole’s continued ascent into a foodie destination became that much sweeter with Muffin House Café’s May 2nd opening at 907 Main St.

The 2,000 sq. ft. storefront features extensive baked goods display cases, an indoor seating capacity for 35 people and a large kitchen, thus far exceeding what looks like a small storefront from the outside.

Muffin House Interior

As the sixth Muffin House Café in eastern Massachusetts, the Walpole location offers a welcoming dining room that includes a fireplace and television, as well as myriad windows lending good natural lighting. Additionally, several outdoor tables with umbrellas are available for outdoor dining during the warmer weather.

As many locals know who have enjoyed the other five locations, Muffin House Café does not follow a cookie cutter approach. The full bakery, huge breakfast and lunch sandwiches and salads, homemade soups, freshly roasted coffee from Red Barn Roasters and, of course, those amazing blueberry muffins based on a recipe from the legendary Jordan Marsh department store help elevate Muffin House Café far beyond the norm for this type of dining out and take out genre.

Signature Menu Item: Blueberry Muffins!

Muffin House’s muffins go far beyond one flavor, however, with 23 other standouts including butter lemon crunch, cranberry orange, pina colada, raspberry vanilla and salted caramel.

The Muffin House Café’s opening adds to the already growing list of food destinations in downtown Walpole – 12, to be exact within a two-block area with more eateries on the way (details coming soon!).
