Eric Hurwitz is the editor and publisher of the New England travel site, VisitingNewEngland.com. He is also the author of "Massachusetts Town Greens," a book detailing the history of 70-plus essential town greens in Massachusetts. Hurwitz holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communications from Suffolk University in Boston, Mass. He spent 20-plus years as a reporter, assistant editor, editor and public affairs specialist/officer in the public and private sectors before starting his work of love, VisitingNewEngland.com. He is a U.S. Army Superior Civilian Award recipient and a 28-year resident of Walpole.

Jad Khatib is a high school freshman at Al-Noor Academy who loves learning and giving back to his community. Recently, he was named a Regional Science Fair finalist and went on to compete at the State Science Fair in Worcester. When he’s not at school or volunteering, you can find him playing basketball or spending time with friends. Jad lives in Walpole with his parents and three siblings.

Lisa Van der Linden is the owner of Linden Gardens, a fine gardening design and maintenance business. Before starting her own company, she worked in corporate communications. She received a bachelor's degree in English from Amherst College and studied landscape design at the Radcliffe Seminars program. Van der Linden is a member of the Finance Committee and the Walpole 300th committee, and is a representative to Town Meeting. She is a 25-year resident of Walpole.
