Two Music Events Arrive This Week!
Walpole Porchfest 2026 and Main Street Live head to the Common

Walpole Porchfest 2026
Porchfest is a nationwide musical concept designed as a community-driven event drawing from local arists to provide open-air concerts, often taking place in residential settings. Walpole’s rendition of the event will take place on Saturday, September 12 from noon until 6 PM.

This will be Walpole’s 5th year hosting Porchfest. The main event will take place at the bandstand on the town common and feature five musical acts performing between noon and 6 PM, with each act running between 30 and 60 minutes. It’s a pleasant family setting, so it’s a great opportunity to bring some lawnchairs and enjoy the music, and perhaps visit some of Walpole’s downtown establishments.
A second musical event will take place down the road at 1088 Main Street, just a 5-minute walk from the bandstand. From 12:30 to 2:00 PM, the Campbell Maguire Guitar Duo will be playing popular rock covers from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s.

Main Street Live
Main Street Live will take place on Friday, September 18 from 4 to 10 PM on the Walpole Town Common.
The event is a music festival that has been wildly popular in previous years, attracting more than a thousand spectators to downtown Walpole over the course of the evening. It is free and open to all ages. The live concert features a series of bands, and includes a selection of food trucks and vendors offering beer and cocktails. Lawn games and other activities are also provided. It’s makes for a great Friday night party to close out the summer.

This year’s event is presented by the Bellforge Arts Center of Medfield. Although the event is free, the sponsors encourage attendees to visit their event page to register in advance which will help them to prepare for the event and to distribute event updates.
