The Walpole Historical Society will have its Annual Christmas Open House on Saturday, December 9, from 4:00 to 7:00PM. Meet Charles Dickens, aka Michael LePage, telling a ghost story from 1762. This was an old time English tradition at Christmastime. Chris and Clare Hurley will portray a “Magnetic Physician”/faith healer in the parlor. Annie LePage will give tours of the Deacon Willard Lewis House, decorated for the season. Refreshments will be served.
History books on Walpole, and other gift items will be available.
