Please join the Walpole Historical Society for an outdoor demonstration of what it might have look like when Minutemen were preparing to march out of town. What rations were being prepared for them? What were they packing?
Location: Front lawn of the Walpole Historical Society, 33 West Street across from town common
There will be ongoing cooking demonstrations by foodway historian Stacy Booth in period costume along with other historical reenactors. The contents of a Minuteman’s pack will be on display and discussed. Also, the museum rooms of the historical society will be open to visitors.
